What is death? I ask myself.
A sigh, a whisper, a gasp?
Will it be the moment when I see what's gone in my past?

Is it a step, a jump, a pull
Into the unknown? I wonder.
Will I feel scared or happy or sad?
Something else for me to ponder.

What is death? I ask myself.
Is it a sigh, a whisper a gasp?
It is the moment when I shall meet My blessed Maker at last!
