I never got a chance to say goodbye.
I don't know how I'll get over you, I'm not even sure if I will.
You used to make me laugh until I had tears in my eyes.
I count the weeks since you went away.
Your memory will not let me forget, it just will not leave.
One day I'll be able to say goodbye and let you go.
Friends say I should get over it and try to move on.
I'll never forget you, my dear friend, and I'll love forever. Copyright © 2002 Christi Beam. All rights reserved. Comments (3)
