Grief Loss & Recovery is a collaboration of three women—Linda Davis of North Carolina, Brenda Penepent of Arkansas, and Joanne Glasspoole of Wisconsin. Linda and Brenda both moderated GLR's discussion forum for many years and have contributed numerous poems and memoirs to the website. As for Joanne, “This is my pet project and a testament to my father. It is my grief ministry, and it is my way of helping others through a difficult time.” Since its launch in 2001, Grief Loss & Recovery has undergone many transformations. But one thing has never changed—the beautiful writings contributed by people just like you who have suffered a terrible loss. Discover our anthology of grief poems, articles, memoirs & personal stories, categorized by type of loss. About Joanne Glasspoole

Plans for 2010
We have some great enhancements planned for Grief Loss & Recovery in 2010, including member blogs, an events calendar featuring grief support groups across the U.S. and abroad, photo memorial tributes, and our very own social networking community, which will be synched with our Facebook fan page. And of course, lots of new content!!! (I'm still working on 2003 submissions…)
Personally, I was hoping to have all these features in place by now, but I simply ran out of time.
If you have ideas for improving this website, please don't be shy! All feedback—both positive and constructive—is welcome. This site would not exist without you!
